WHO WE ARE

Two childhood friends, Renos Demetriou and Panayiotis Demetriades, have shared the same passion for motorcycles for many years. Renos is a professional in Design and Marketing Communications; Panayiotis is an artisan cobbler. These two creative spirits have come together and made a long-discussed idea into a reality. That is, an annual event to host and promote the core values of motorcycle culture: Vintage, classic and custom-built machines. This event also supports a worthy charitable cause.

WHAT WE DO

Our love of motorcycling led to our participation in numerous international motorcycle events, taking long cross-border rides and to experience different motorcycle cultures. Having custom built our own machines, we can fully appreciate the time, effort and work that goes into every restoration or custom build project. They are truly labours of love! As part of our event therefore, we can showcase the skill and craftsmanship required and give credit and recognition to the creators of some magnificent machinery.

WHY WE DO IT

The spirit of motorcycle cultures transcends many normally accepted borders and barriers. Motorcycling enthusiasts can immediately strike up friendships and share their common love and zeal with each other; whoever they are and with whatever type of machine they choose to ride. Some riders prefer to ride alone, others in a group; but their passion is irrefutable. This passion also fuels the desire to make a difference by supporting the charitable cause of men’s health. This is a culture of creativity, individuality and freedom.

THE ENTERTAINMENT

With live bands and DJs tuning to the sounds of classic rock and blues, the entertainment sets up an atmosphere that connects the passionate crowds, celebrating the two-wheel spirit with inclusiveness, authenticity and enthusiasm. Even if you are not a motorcycle enthusiast but you fancy the tunes and like to join us, come have a drink and party while supporting the cause.

THE SHOWCASE

We select and showcase the best and most impressive vintage, classic and customized motorcycles to inspire and motivate motorcycle enthusiasts. The selection is made based on a list of motorcycles that we gather throughout the year. So, if you have something that is worthwhile, let us know and it may earn its place in next year’s showcase. Visitors have the opportunity to vote for the bikes they favor.

THE RIDE

As official hosts of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride in Cyprus, we dedicate the last day of the festival to promoting and supporting the DGR. Improving awareness of, and fund-raising for men’s health issues, especially prostate cancer, is what this day is all about.
